CoCreateSG is a series of AI co-creation workshops and activities aimed at empowering Singapore’s creatives, including persons with disabilities, by harnessing the power of AI to drive meaningful societal change.
This initiative goes beyond a typical workshop series; it seeks to transform mindsets, and build meaningful collaborations and partnerships between the abled and persons with disabilities in the creative community.
Launching in January 2025, we’re building a community where AI serves as an equaliser, leveling the playing field for both abled and disabled creatives by providing accessible tools and opportunities that empower everyone to reach their full creative potential.
Hands-on, collaborative sessions where creatives learn to integrate AI into creative projects. All participants will work collaboratively in their team to create a short film (based on the provided theme) and images. One month of mentorship will also be extended to the team upon the completion of the workshop.
A pop-up exhibition displaying innovative works created during the workshops through collaborative effort. A documentary film made during the workshops will showcase the journeys of the creatives, from start to finish.
Transforming designs into merchandise to generate income, and expanding the range of services that can be provided by creatives, especially by persons with disabilities, to demonstrate the impact and viability of inclusive, AI-driven creativity.

No prior AI experience is required. Our workshops are designed to cater to beginners while also providing value to those with some AI experience.
You'll learn about various AI tools for creative projects, including text generation, image creation, video production, and graphic design with AI assistance. You'll also gain experience in collaborative work and problem-solving. The workshop is designed for you to work in a team and at the end of the workshop you will create a short film and key images all just using AI tools. Mentors and trainers will be working alongside you to create the final products that will have a chance to showcase in an exhibition in June 2025.
Participants must attend three workshop days (3 hours each) on 10th, 15th and 18th January 2025 from 2pm to 5pm, plus dedicate time to complete the required deliverables within one month after the workshops.
For facilitators, there will be an additional train-the-trainers/facilitators session on 29th Nov 2024) from 2pm to 5pm on top of the 3 days workshops.
No fee involved. But it will be based on the selection process. As there are only a limited number of participants, hence we will select the most suitable participants to join us.
You'll need to bring your own laptop or device capable of running the required AI tools. We'll provide information on necessary software before the workshops.
Teams will be formed during the workshops, aiming for a diverse mix of skills and backgrounds. Each team will typically have 3-4 members.
You retain ownership of your original ideas and creations. However, you grant CoCreateSG as well as its partners the permission to use and showcase your work to promote the programme and its impact.
